The Privacy Policy provides information on how Sushi Yami collects, processes, stores, shares, deletes and protects the Customer’s personal data, thus ensuring that the Customer’s personal data is processed legally, in good faith and in a manner transparent to the Customer. The current version of the privacy policy is published on Sushi Yami’s website www.sushiyami.lv.

Applicable legislation: Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of such data (April 27, 2016).

Sushi Yami is entitled to process the following personal data:
a. Name, surname, personal identification number, delivery address, address of declared residence, telephone number and e-mail address;
b. Data of identity documents (document number, date and place of issue, etc.);
c. Data on the person’s workplace and income;
d. Communication data – e-mail, letter or other information related to the Client’s communication with Sushi Yami;
e. Video surveillance recordings and images;
f. Customer IP address information.

Basis for processing the customer’s personal data:
a. Customer’s consent – The customer, as the subject of personal data, gives his consent to the collection and processing of personal data for certain purposes.
b. Customer Order Fulfillment and Transaction Processing – In order for Sushi Yami to fulfill a customer’s order, it must collect and process certain personal data that is collected during or prior to order preparation.
c. Sushi Yami’s legitimate interests – Sushi Yami has the right to process the Customer’s personal data to the extent that it is objectively necessary 6.e.-6.y. for performing the actions indicated in points

Sushi Yami processes the Customer’s personal data for the following purpose:
a. For the preparation of offers;
b. For the execution of sales transactions;
c. To ensure delivery;
d. To inform customers about news and current offers;
e. For handling customer complaints related to the goods sold or the services provided;
f. For business planning and analytics;
g. For security video surveillance.

Sushi Yami obtains the Customer’s personal data when the Customer:
a. Purchases products or services in Sushi Yami stores or the online store by identifying the Customer;
b. Signing up to receive updates from Sushi Yami;
c. Ask for a product or service offer or contact Sushi Yami in connection with a complaint or request for information identifying the Customer;
d. Participates in contests, lotteries or surveys;
e. Filmed by Sushi Yami’s CCTV equipment at Sushi Yami’s store or office;
f. Submit an application for leasing a product in one of Sushi Yami’s stores or online store.

Transfer of customer’s personal data to third parties:
a. For the provision of leasing services – name, surname, personal code, passport data, telephone number, e-mail, residential address, employer, position, income, credit obligations.
b. For delivery of goods – name, surname, e-mail, phone number, delivery address.
c. Sushi Yami is obliged to provide information about personal data to law enforcement authorities, courts or other state and local government authorities, if this results from regulatory enactments or the relevant authority’s request for information.
d. Sushi Yami will provide the Customer’s personal data only to the necessary and sufficient extent in accordance with the requirements of regulatory acts and the objective circumstances of the specific situation.

Duration of personal data storage:
Sushi Yami stores personal data in accordance with the defined purposes of processing personal data and the requirements of regulatory acts, as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:
a. As long as the data subject’s consent to the relevant personal data processing is valid, if there is no other legal basis for data processing.
b. While Sushi Yami has a legal obligation to store data in accordance with regulatory enactments;
c. As long as Sushi Yami can realize its legitimate interests in accordance with the procedures laid down in external regulatory acts.

Data security and data rectification:
a. All customer personal data that becomes known to Sushi Yami is considered confidential information.
b. The customer has the right to reasonably request that his personal data be supplemented, corrected, as well as that the processing of personal data be terminated or the data be deleted if it is outdated, incomplete or no longer corresponds to the originally stated purpose of data processing.
c. The user of the Sushi Yami online store has the right to delete his profile by sending a request to the e-mail: info@sushiyami.lv. In this case, the request is accepted only if it is sent from the same e-mail to which the user profile is registered.
d. The customer has the right to refuse to receive any news by unsubscribing from receiving news, clicking on the e-mail link or sending information to the e-mail: info@sushiyami.lv;
